View the resource round-up from this coffee chat

This coffee chat featured partners from California who participated in the CHOICES Learning Collaborative Partnership. The partners shared their findings from evaluating the potential cost-effectiveness of a strategy to improve access to drinking water in California schools. We discussed how improving access to safe and appealing drinking water can be a key part of creating a healthy school environment that will set children up for a healthy future. Participants connected and learned from others about current initiatives, opportunities, and challenges to increase access to quality drinking water in their schools and communities.

We were excited to hear from the following partners during the coffee chat:

•  Jessie Gouck, California Department of Public Health
•  Joanne Seavey-Hultquist, Santa Clara County Public Health Department
•  Christina Hecht, Nutrition Policy Institute, University of California, Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources
