The CHOICES Project team is excited to announce the launch of the CHOICES National Action Kit 2.0! This is a re-launch of the CHOICES National Action Kit, originally released in 2019.
The new tool provides projections of the national population reach, impact on health and health equity, implementation costs, and cost-effectiveness for effective strategies to improve child health that can be used in schools, early care and education & out-of-school settings, communities, and clinics. Most notably, the updated tool now includes more detailed information on costs and impacts that strategies could have on health equity for individual strategies, like promoting water consumption in schools.
The information available in the Action Kit 2.0 can be particularly helpful for planning and prioritization purposes to ensure responsible investments in strategies to improve child health, nutrition and physical activity environments, and health equity.
