Brief: Reducing Screen Time in Early Child Care Settings in Boston, MA

Through the CHOICES Learning Collaborative Partnership, partners at the Boston Public Health Commission worked with the CHOICES Project Team to model the potential implementation of a strategy that provides voluntary training to early child care educators and resources to families to limit noneducational television time at child care and home. This strategy could reach 18,200 children over 10 years. Per day, each child would engage in 33 fewer minutes of screen time.
