Join our coffee chat on June 23: Improving Nutrition & Physical Activity Practices & Policies in Early Care & Education

Improving Nutrition & Physical Activity Practices & Policies in Early Care & Education
Thursday, June 23, 1:00pm – 1:50pm ET

This coffee chat will feature partners from Boston Public Health Commission who will share their findings from evaluating the potential cost-effectiveness of the More Movement and Reducing Screen Time interventions in early child care programs in Boston, MA. The partners will share how these strategies support the goals of their health agency and align with priorities of the Boston Healthy Child Care Initiative. We will discuss how improving nutrition and physical activity in early care and education environments is key for setting children up for a healthy future.

Participants will be able to connect and learn from others about current initiatives, opportunities, and challenges to improving nutrition and physical activity in early care and education settings in their communities.

We’re excited to hear from the following partners during the coffee chat:

  • Mary Bovenzi, Director, Chronic Disease Prevention & Control Division,
    Boston Public Health Commission
