Creating Healthier Spaces for Kids: A Walkthrough of OSNAP Resources for Out-of-School Time
Thursday, January 23, 1:00pm – 1:50pm ET

This coffee chat will feature an in-depth overview of resources from the Out-of-School Time Nutrition and Physical Activity (OSNAP) initiative including a discussion of how you can implement this evidence-based intervention in your program, city, or state.

We are excited to hear from Bekka Lee, Lecturer at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and Director of the Community Engagement Program at Harvard Catalyst. Bekka will demonstrate key features of and how to use the OSNAP website, specifically the MyOSNAP section, which you can use to assess how closely your program practices and policies align to the OSNAP goals and create a customized action plan to ensure healthy changes.

This coffee chat will include a short presentation followed by a group discussion. Please submit questions or topics that you would like our guest speaker to address when you register for the event. As always, we will share relevant resources that may be useful for advancing your local prevention work.
