In this coffee chat hosted by the CHOICES Community of Practice, Oami Amarasingham, Deputy Director of the Massachusetts Public Health Association, shares tips and insights to help participants learn how to successfully engage decision-makers to advance prevention. There are many ways to engage with and educate decision-makers about policies and programs that can make a difference in improving health and health equity. Learning how to strategically communicate with decision-makers can help support community actions and local health agencies’ priorities to advance healthy eating, physical activity, and health equity.
