New Opportunity to Partner with the CHOICES Project in 2019

Logo for CHOICES

The Childhood Obesity Intervention Cost-Effectiveness Study (CHOICES) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is pleased to announce a Learning Collaborative Partnership opportunity to support state, city, and county health agencies in working to reduce childhood obesity. CHOICES wants to help you identify and develop best value for money strategies with strong evidence for impact on health to make a difference in obesity in your community.

This partnership opportunity will allow state, city, and county health agencies and their partners to use local data to examine the potential health and cost impact of strategies to reduce childhood obesity that could be implemented locally in the future. Awardees will receive funding resources (up to $50,000 per organization). The CHOICES LCP offers an approach for agencies to strengthen their approaches to prioritizing and planning strategies to improve physical activity, dietary intake and obesity prevention. CHOICES offers a structured approach for convening cross-sector partners and developing communication messages and products.

The CHOICES team has partnered with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), the National Association of County and City Officials (NACCHO), and Big Cities Health Coalition (BCHC) to support state and local health agencies through the LCP process.
